Below are the revised bylaws. Please take the time to read them over ahead of the 2025 Annual Meeting, as this will be a voting item on the agenda.
The previous bylaws were from 2014 and were no longer in compliance; therefore, we enlisted the help of an attorney who specializes in nonprofit law to help bring us back into compliance and address some gray areas and omissions, and to clarify a few points of confusion that have come up over the years. We also held a listening session, open to the general membership, in May of 2024, where members were invited to read a draft of the revised bylaws and provide feedback, which was then used for further revisions. After several rounds of edits, this is the final product.
