Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by our boot Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by our booth at @fresno_rainbow_pride! We're so grateful to have been invited, and to have had the opportunity to share library resources with so many new people! (Apologies to all the adults who wanted Summer At Your Library calendars-- we ran out so fast! But visit the library's website and you can see what's coming up! Also, if you grabbed a library card application, don't forget to go turn it in so you can start reading, streaming on Kanopy, downloading on Freegal, et cetera!) Thanks to Fresno Rainbow Pride for inviting us, to @womxn2womxn for providing a cool craft activity, to all of our members and volunteers who showed up to staff the booth, to the folks that donated extra bookmarks and keychains for us to hand out, and to the wonderful folks at the booth next to us for providing free queer books to people and donating the lovely "Everyone belongs at the library" banner to us! If there's one thing we know about Fresno County, it's that we love our libraries and librarians! Pride is this Saturday, June 6! And we'll be there Pride is this Saturday, June 6! And we'll be there! We won't be in the parade (although lots of library friends of all kinds will be marching with @pflag_fresno), but you can find us at the festival from 11 to 4 at Fresno City College! We'll be joined by @womxn2womxn for a DIY bookmark printing craft, so make sure to stop by! We'll also have Friends of the Library membership brochures, library card applications, information on library resources, Summer At Your Library calendars with programs for all ages, and stickers! This photo is from an older event, so expect a new tablecloth and pop-up tent, but you can find us near the Children's Area!
